As a former Bellevue High Cheerleader or Yell King, you know how that cheer goes! But you may not yet know that as a former cheerleader you are being saluted at the upcoming October 28th Bellevue High School Homecoming. The Homecoming Committee this year is offering some activities and entertainment especially for YOU, as an alum.
Here’s the rundown for this years’ Homecoming:
-
The annual parade at 6 PM sharp on Old Main Street serves as a kick-off to all kinds of tradition. There will be colorful themed floats, the marching band featuring current and alumni members playing The Fight Song, cheerleaders with banners, precision drill team, and the Royalty Court waving from convertibles.
-
Wear any letter jackets, uniform pieces, or just the spirit colors of blue and gold. Bring poms and megaphones if you saved them from years past.
-
Follow the parade procession to the school where you may purchase a hot pre-game meal. Hamburgers (or veggie burgers), salad, fruit, cookies and bottled water for $8
-
Buy a ticket for the game BHS vs. Liberty and sit in a special reserved section in the stadium. Game starts at 7 PM.
-
Join the current cheer squad on the football field at half-time where a special recognition ceremony is planned.
